{"id":523,"date":"2016-05-17T17:31:17","date_gmt":"2016-05-17T09:31:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsletter.tcu.edu.tw\/?p=523"},"modified":"2016-05-17T17:31:17","modified_gmt":"2016-05-17T09:31:17","slug":"a-workshop-for-creating-massive-open-online-courses-moocs%e6%95%99%e8%b3%87%e4%b8%ad%e5%bf%83%e8%88%89%e8%be%a6%e3%80%90%e7%a3%a8%e8%aa%b2%e5%b8%ab%e8%aa%b2%e7%a8%8b%e5%96%ae%e5%85%83%e7%a0%b4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsletter.tcu.edu.tw\/?p=523","title":{"rendered":"A Workshop for Creating Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/newsletter.tcu.edu.tw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/unnamed-file-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-502 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/newsletter.tcu.edu.tw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/unnamed-file-2.jpg\" alt=\"\u5de5\u4f5c\u574a\u6240\u6709\u5b78\u54e1\u65bc\u6148\u6fdf\u5927\u5b78\u5927\u611b\u6a13\u4e03\u6a13\u5e73\u53f0\u5408\u5f71\" width=\"268\" height=\"176\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Text\/Photo:CFDIR<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Education invited National Ilan University and Tzu Chi University to sponsor a workshop for creating MOOC courses, and thus on the weekend of April 16-17, many teachers and teaching assistants gathered at TCU\u2019s Da-Ai Building to take part in the event, and shared their know-how about creating MOOC courses.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u96d6\u7136\u662f\u5468\u672b\u5047\u65e5\uff0c\u6148\u6fdf\u5927\u5b78\u5927\u611b\u516d\u6a13\u7684\u5317\u4e8c\u5340\u57fa\u5730\u71df\uff0c\u537b\u4f48\u6eff\u71b1\u70c8\u7684\u8a0e\u8ad6\u53ca\u4ea4\u6d41\u8072\u97ff\uff0c105\u5e744\/16\u53ca4\/17\u5169\u5929\uff0c\u6559\u80b2\u90e8\u59d4\u8a17\u7531\u570b\u7acb\u5b9c\u862d\u5927\u5b78\u53ca\u6148\u6fdf\u5927\u5b78\u806f\u5408\u8fa6\u7406\u3010\u78e8\u8ab2\u5e2b\u8ab2\u7a0b\u55ae\u5143\u7834\u51b0\u8a2d\u8a08\u5de5\u4f5c\u574a\u3011\uff0c\u532f\u805a\u4e86\u5c0d\u65bc\u78e8\u8ab2\u5e2b(MOOC)\u8ab2\u7a0b\u5145\u6eff\u7406\u60f3\u53ca\u71b1\u60c5\u7684\u8001\u5e2b\u3001\u52a9\u7406\u5011\uff0c\u900f\u904e\u5171\u540c\u53c3\u8207\u5de5\u4f5c\u574a\u7684\u904e\u7a0b\u5206\u4eab\u78e8\u8ab2\u5e2b\u7684\u5bf6\u8cb4\u7d93\u9a57\u3002<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sharing with each other and creating MOOC courses were two major segments of the workshop. Chao-Si Huang and Da-Yong Zhu of National Ilan University, Shu-Ping Zhang of Chihlee University of Technology, Shi-Chang Chen and Xi-Xun Yang of Yunglin University of Science and Technology, Hui-Ru Lin of TCU, and Meng-Yu Zheng of Da-Yeh University each shared the experience of creating their own MOOC, and showed participants how they made MOOC introductory films step-by-step.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u6b64\u6b21\u5de5\u4f5c\u574a\u5206\u70ba\u300c\u5206\u4eab\u4ea4\u6d41\u300d\u8207\u300c\u5be6\u969b\u62cd\u651d\u300d\u5169\u500b\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u7686\u65bc\u5927\u611b\u6a13\u516d\u6a13\u5317\u4e8c\u5340\u57fa\u5730\u71df\u9032\u884c\uff0c\u9080\u8acb\u5b9c\u862d\u5927\u5b78\u9ec3\u671d\u66e6\u8001\u5e2b\u53ca\u6731\u9054\u52c7\u8001\u5e2b\u3001\u81f4\u7406\u79d1\u6280\u5927\u5b78\u5f35\u6dd1\u840d\u8001\u5e2b\u4ee5\u53ca\u96f2\u6797\u79d1\u6280\u5927\u5b78\u9673\u4e16\u660c\u53ca\u694a\u6670\u52db\u5169\u4f4d\u8001\u5e2b\uff0c\u6148\u6fdf\u5927\u5b78\u300c\u73fe\u4ee3\u79d1\u5357\u300d\u6797\u60e0\u8339\u8001\u5e2b\uff0c\u5927\u8449\u5927\u5b78\u912d\u5b5f\u7389\u8001\u5e2b\uff0c\u5404\u6821\u8001\u5e2b\u806f\u5408\u9032\u884c\u4e3b\u984c\u5f0f\u7684\u5206\u4eab\uff0c\u900f\u904e\u8ab2\u7a0b\u8b93\u53c3\u8207\u5b78\u54e1\u5f9e\u5be6\u969b\u6848\u4f8b\u4e2d\u4e86\u89e3\uff0c\u4f55\u8b02\u7834\u51b0\uff1f\u5982\u4f55\u8a2d\u8a08\u7834\u51b0\u5f71\u7247\uff1f\u53c8\u8a72\u5982\u4f55\u88fd\u4f5c\uff1f\u4e26\u900f\u904e\u5be6\u969b\u62cd\u651d\u793a\u7bc4\u8b93\u5b78\u54e1\u4e86\u89e3\u62cd\u651d\u7684\u6b65\u9a5f\u53ca\u904e\u7a0b\u3002<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Day 1 of the workshop focused on creating content and designing the introductory film, and day 2 centered on guiding participants to produce their own online courses. CFDIR provided two mobile studios, and moreover, Center of Media Production and Teaching Director Ding-Bang Chen offered CFDIR production staff and professional advice.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u4e00\u6574\u5929\u7684\u4e3b\u984c\u5f0f\u5206\u4eab\u884c\u7a0b\uff0c\u8b93\u6bcf\u4f4d\u5b78\u54e1\u919e\u91c0\u4e26\u8a2d\u8a08\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u7834\u51b0\u5f71\u7247\uff0c\u70ba\u7b2c\u4e8c\u5929\u7684\u300c\u9032\u68da\u300d\u505a\u6e96\u5099\u3002\u7b2c\u4e8c\u5929\u7684\u5be6\u969b\u62cd\u651d\uff0c\u6578\u4f4d\u6559\u5b78\u7d44\u9664\u63d0\u4f9b\u5169\u9593\u884c\u52d5\u5f0f\u7684\u651d\u5f71\u68da\uff0c\u66f4\u7279\u5225\u9080\u8acb\u5a92\u9ad4\u88fd\u4f5c\u66a8\u6559\u5b78\u4e2d\u5fc3\u5354\u52a9\uff0c\u63d0\u4f9b\u5c08\u696d\u7684\u9304\u88fd\u74b0\u5883\uff0c\u4e26\u7531\u5a92\u9ad4\u4e2d\u5fc3\u9673\u5b9a\u90a6\u4e3b\u4efb\u89aa\u81ea\u6307\u5c0e\uff0c\u63d0\u4f9b\u5b78\u54e1\u591a\u6a23\u62cd\u651d\u7684\u9078\u64c7\u3002<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Each filming took around 30 minutes, and right after the recording, participants discussed and received immediate feedback from production staff. They also learned from chatting with others about the process of creating their own courses. By going through the hands-on process, they became familiar with how to make their teaching fascinating.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u6bcf\u4f4d\u5b78\u54e1\u62cd\u651d\u7d04\u534a\u5c0f\u6642\u7684\u6642\u9593\uff0c\u6309\u7167\u8a2d\u8a08\u7684\u8173\u672c\u8207\u5f8c\u88fd\u5718\u968a\u505a\u5354\u8abf\uff0c\u4e26\u8209\u8fa6\u6210\u679c\u5206\u4eab\uff0c\u4e0d\u50c5\u900f\u904e\u88fd\u4f5c\u5f71\u7247\u7684\u904e\u7a0b\u5be6\u969b\u7684\u4e86\u89e3\u88fd\u4f5c\u78e8\u8ab2\u5e2b\u5f71\u7247\u7684\u6b65\u9a5f\u53ca\u65b9\u6cd5\uff0c\u66f4\u5728\u5b78\u54e1\u5f7c\u6b64\u8a0e\u8ad6\u53ca\u4e92\u52d5\u4e2d\u5438\u53d6\u4ed6\u4eba\u7684\u7d93\u9a57\uff0c\u8166\u529b\u6fc0\u76ea\u51fa\u66f4\u5177\u7279\u8272\u7684\u6559\u5b78\u5167\u5bb9\u3002<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During this weekend, many people sacrificed their time to attend the workshop, and TCU\u2019s Dean of Academic Affairs Ingrid Liu was one of them. Yi-Shan Li, a staff of the Department of Information and Technology Education, Ministry of Education was also present during the whole session, chatting with participants and speaking highly about TCU\u2019s working team. The TCU team\u2019s mindfulness and professionalism made every participant feel at home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u672c\u6b21\u5de5\u4f5c\u574a\u5728\u5047\u65e5\u8209\u8fa6\uff0c\u537b\u4ecd\u7372\u5f97\u8a31\u591a\u7684\u95dc\u6ce8\u53ca\u8a62\u554f\uff0c\u6148\u6fdf\u5927\u5b78\u5289\u6021\u5747\u6559\u52d9\u9577\u5728\u767e\u5fd9\u4e2d\u4ecd\u89aa\u81ea\u51fa\u5e2d\uff0c\u6559\u80b2\u90e8\u79d1\u6280\u53ca\u8cc7\u8a0a\u6559\u80b2\u53f8\u674e\u4f9d\u73ca\u7ba1\u7406\u5e2b\u66f4\u5169\u5929\u5168\u7a0b\u53c3\u8207\uff0c\u4e0d\u50c5\u628a\u63e1\u6642\u9593\u8207\u5404\u6821\u9032\u884c\u4ea4\u6d41\uff0c\u4e26\u7d66\u4e88\u6148\u6fdf\u5927\u5b78\u5728\u5834\u5de5\u4f5c\u5925\u4f34\u9ad8\u5ea6\u7684\u9f13\u52f5\u53ca\u8b9a\u8cde\uff0c\u6574\u9f4a\u4e14\u5c08\u696d\u7684\u5de5\u4f5c\u5f62\u8c61\uff0c\u8b93\u6240\u6709\u9060\u5230\u800c\u4f86\u7684\u5b78\u54e1\u5011\u6709\u8cd3\u81f3\u5982\u6b78\u4e4b\u611f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The participants gave positive feedback about this workshop, asked about the next workshop, and said they looked forward to attending it. Through this workshop, they shared skills, administrative challenges, and ideas with each other, and as a result, collaboration between universities might be forthcoming. Starting in Fall 2016, TCU plans to train teaching assistants and enhance their digital skills, and assist Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology to set up a SOP for creating MOOC courses. Many universities are prepared to recommend their MOOC courses to other universities, and turn them into a part of other universities\u2019 curriculums.
