Starting from acedemic year 2016, Center for General Education will initiate a major curriculum reform. On April 6 TCU sponsored a joint development forum, inviting local organizations and discussing how TCU can contribute to the development in Hualien. Kuroshio Panelists included the following leaders in their own right: Wei-Ren Lai, director of the Ocean Education Foundation ; Yu-En Zhong, manager of Fuli Organic Rice Cooperative; Hong Li-Ying Liu, director of Bi Yun Chung Community Development Association; Jian-Xi Xu, CEO of Hualien Happy Life Cooperative; Yu-Rong Peng, President of Fresh Vegetable and Fruit of Hualien and Taitung; and Cui-Ling Wang, project manager of National Development Council\u2019s Vibrant Industries in Hualien and Taitung. They expressed their needs for projects appropriate for students and research endeavors of the TCU faculty.<\/p>\n

\u70ba\u4e86\u56e0\u61c9105\u5b78\u5e74\u8d77\uff0c\u901a\u8b58\u4e2d\u5fc3\u5c07\u9678\u7e8c\u9032\u884c\u5fae\u5b78\u5206\u53ca\u6df1\u7897\u3001\u505a\u4e2d\u5b78\u5c08\u984c\u5b78\u5206\u7b49\u8ab2\u7a0b\u6539\u9769\u3002\u901a\u8b58\u4e2d\u5fc34\u67086\u65e5\u8209\u8fa6\u300c\u5927\u5b78\u8207\u5730\u5340\u767c\u5c55\u6574\u5408\u8ad6\u58c7- \u6148\u6fdf\u5927\u5b78\u53ef\u4ee5\u5982\u4f55\u8ca2\u737b\u82b1\u84ee\u5728\u5730\u767c\u5c55\uff1f\u300d\u6d3b\u52d5\uff0c\u9080\u96c6\u5728\u5730\u4f01\u696d\u53caNGO\u7d44\u7e54\u4ee3\u8868:\u8cf4\u5a01\u4efb(\u9ed1\u6f6e\u6d77\u6d0b\u6587\u5316\u57fa\u91d1\u6703\u4e3b\u4efb)\u3001\u937e\u96e8\u6069(\u5bcc\u91cc\u6709\u6a5f\u7c73\u5408\u4f5c\u793e\u8ca0\u8cac\u4eba)\u3001\u5289\u6d2a\u9ece\u541f (\u78a7\u96f2\u838a\u793e\u5340\u767c\u5c55\u5354\u6703\u7406\u4e8b\u9577)\u3001\u5f90\u5805\u74bd(\u82b1\u84ee\u597d\u751f\u6d3b\u52de\u52d5\u5408\u4f5c\u793e\u7406\u4e8b\u4e3b\u5e2d)\u3001\u5f6d\u6631\u878d(\u82b1\u6771\u83dc\u5e02\u96c6\u8ca0\u8cac\u4eba)\u3001\u738b\u7fe0\u83f1(\u570b\u767c\u6703\u82b1\u6771\u5730\u5340\u7522\u696d\u516d\u7d1a\u5316\u8f14\u5c0e\u5c08\u6848\u7d93\u7406)\u5171\u516d\u4f4d\u8207\u8ac7\u4eba\u9032\u884c\u8a0e\u8ad6\u5206\u4eab\uff0c\u7531\u5728\u5730\u4f01\u696d\u8207NGO\u60c5\u5883\u51fa\u984c\uff0c\u4f5c\u70ba\u5f8c\u7e8c\u6148\u5927\u901a\u8b58\u6559\u80b2\u8ab2\u7a0b\u6539\u9769\u53ca\u6559\u5e2b\u7814\u7a76\u7684\u53c3\u8003\u3002<\/p>\n

Six panelists shared their thoughts of why they came home to manage their organizations, and they also described what they went through and what challenges they might face in the future. During the second half of the forum, students were assigned to different groups, the faculty of Center for General Education worked with students. They brainstormed the six topics initiated in the first half of the forum, trying to understand specific needs and problems facing local organizations to come up the solutions. As a result, those needs and problems became students\u2019 projects, and students really played active roles in their learning.
\n\u524d\u534a\u5834\u6b21\u5148\u7531\u516d\u4f4d\u8207\u8ac7\u4eba\u5206\u4eab\u81ea\u5df1\u8fd4\u9109\u7d93\u71df\u7d44\u7e54\u3001\u793e\u5340\u7684\u904e\u7a0b\u4e2d\u66fe\u7d93\u767c\u751f\u4e8b\u4f8b\u8207\u672a\u4f86\u8981\u9762\u81e8\u7684\u8ab2\u984c\u3002\u5f8c\u534a\u5834\u7531\u901a\u8b58\u4e2d\u5fc3\u8001\u5e2b\u5011\u5e36\u9818\u540c\u5b78\u5011\u6253\u7834\u73ed\u7d1a\u9650\u5236\u9032\u884c\u5206\u7d44\u8a0e\u8ad6\uff0c\u5c31\u524d\u534a\u5834\u7684\u516d\u500b\u4e3b\u984c\u9032\u884c\u8166\u529b\u6fc0\u76ea\uff0c\u601d\u8003\u5982\u4f55\u4ee5\u8e72\u9ede\u65b9\u5f0f\u4e86\u89e3\u554f\u984c\u4e26\u5617\u8a66\u89e3\u6c7a\u554f\u984c\uff0c\u4e26\u8f49\u5316\u6210\u672a\u4f86\u505a\u4e2d\u5b78\u7684\u5c08\u984c\u8ab2\u7a0b\uff0c\u8b93\u5b78\u751f\u6210\u70ba\u5b78\u7fd2\u7684\u4e3b\u4eba\u3002<\/p>\n

Group 1 students came up with a project \u201cWorking together on organic rice field in Fuli\u201d. Participating students included Hong-Bin Zhong, He-Feng Tang, Wan-Lun Cai, Zi-Yi Yang, and Jun-Quan Chen, Hong-Bin Zhong, He-Feng Tang, Wan-Lun Cai, Zi-Yi Yang, and Jun-Quan Chen are Physical Therapy students; Hong-Rui Chen and Yu-Ting Cai are from Department of Medical Informatics\uff1bQian-Heng Chen, Tang-Xin Dai, and Meng-Han Li are Public Health students. These students were inspired by Yu -En Zhong coming home for farming, and they wanted to learn how to grow rice from planting seeds, eliminating plant diseases, to harvesting crops. Furthermore, they planned to utilize local natural and culture resources to promote rice.
\n\u5176\u4e2d\u4e00\u7d44\u540c\u5b78\u5011\u767c\u8868\u300c\u5bcc\u7a3b\u4ec1\u5bb6-\u5bcc\u91cc\u6709\u6a5f\u7c73\u7530\uff0c\u5171\u540c\u7d93\u71df\u300d\u8ab2\u7a0b (\u7269\u6cbb\u7cfb\uff1a\u937e\u5b8f\u658c\u3001\u6e6f\u8377\u98a8\u3001\u8521\u5b9b\u502b\u3001\u694a\u5b50\u5100\u3001\u9673\u4fca\u5168\uff1b\u91ab\u8cc7\u7cfb\uff1a\u9673\u5b8f\u745e\u3001\u8521\u96e8\u5ead\uff1b\u516c\u885b\u7cfb\uff1a\u9673\u5029\u73e9\u3001\u6234\u6e8f\u6b46\u3001\u674e\u5922\u6db5)\uff0c\u85c9\u7531\u8fd4\u9109\u52d9\u8fb2\u7684\u937e\u96e8\u6069\u8207\u8ac7\u4eba\u5206\u4eab\u7684\u300c\u5929\u8cdc\u7ce7\u6e90\u300d\u7406\u5ff5\uff0c\u8a2d\u8a08\u51fa\u81ea\u5df1\u672a\u4f86\u60f3\u8981\u9032\u884c\u7684\u8ab2\u7a0b\u5167\u5bb9\uff1a\u5305\u542b\u5f9e\u521d\u671f\u7684\u7a2e\u690d\u968e\u6bb5\uff0c\u5b78\u7fd2\u5982\u4f55\u6d88\u9664\u75c5\u87f2\u5bb3\u8b93\u7a3b\u7c73\u9806\u5229\u751f\u9577\u7684\u5404\u7a2e\u8fb2\u696d\u77e5\u8b58\uff0c\u5230\u5f8c\u671f\u8981\u5b78\u7fd2\u898f\u5283\u5c07\u6536\u6210\u7684\u7a3b\u7c73\u900f\u904e\u7d50\u5408\u7576\u5730\u81ea\u7136\u3001\u6587\u5316\u8cc7\u6e90\u505a\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u884c\u92b7\u6d3b\u52d5\u3002<\/p>\n

Center director Jiang pointed out that this is the first time TCU tried to use actual cases to enhance student\u2019s learning. He planned to organize more similar forums, and through discussions, students will encounter a wider variety of new concepts than textbook can offer. Moreover, Center for General Education will provide courses for students to identify the people\u2019s needs and problems with their knowledge, plan the projects which they want to do, and work with local organizations. Through these courses, students will experience teamwork, learn analytical skills, and cultivate altruism and civic responsibility. Jiang wished students to take part in community development while studying at TCU, and prepare themselves well for serving the society.
\n\u901a\u8b58\u4e2d\u5fc3\u6c5f\u5141\u667a\u4e3b\u4efb\u8868\u793a\uff0c\u9019\u6b21\u662f\u6148\u5927\u7b2c\u4e00\u6b21\u5617\u8a66\u5c07\u5728\u5730\u60c5\u5883\u554f\u984c\u5c0e\u5165\u5b78\u751f\u5b78\u7fd2\uff0c\u672a\u4f86\u5c07\u898f\u5283\u66f4\u591a\u5834\u6b21\u985e\u4f3c\u7684\u8ad6\u58c7\u6d3b\u52d5\uff0c\u5e0c\u671b\u900f\u904e\u66f4\u591a\u7684\u8a0e\u8ad6\uff0c\u80fd\u5920\u8b93\u540c\u5b78\u63a5\u53d7\u5230\u8207\u50b3\u7d71\u66f8\u672c\u4e2d\u66f4\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u591a\u5143\u65b0\u6982\u5ff5\uff0c\u671f\u5f85\u5728\u672a\u4f86\u7684\u901a\u8b58\u8ab2\u7a0b\u4e2d\uff0c\u540c\u5b78\u5011\u904b\u7528\u6240\u5b78\u77e5\u8b58\u767c\u6398\u554f\u984c\u3001\u63d0\u51fa\u60f3\u8981\u57f7\u884c\u7684\u5c08\u984c\uff0c\u8207\u82b1\u84ee\u5728\u5730\u7684\u7d44\u7e54\u5408\u4f5c\u5171\u540c\u89e3\u6c7a\u554f\u984c\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u5728\u904e\u7a0b\u4e2d\u5efa\u7acb\u5718\u968a\u5408\u4f5c\u3001\u5b78\u7fd2\u601d\u8fa8\u6e9d\u901a\u3001\u57f9\u990a\u5229\u4ed6\u8207\u516c\u6c11\u7684\u57fa\u672c\u7d20\u990a\u3002\u671f\u5f85\u540c\u5b78\u5728\u6821\u6642\u671f\u5c31\u80fd\u900f\u904e\u76f4\u63a5\u53c3\u8207\u793e\u6703\u767c\u5c55\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u7562\u696d\u5c31\u662f\u793e\u6703\u9700\u8981\u7684\u4eba\u624d\u3002<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
